Jornada 680/­690/­680e/­690e Backup driver for HP Jornada 690 Handheld Type: Utility This version 2.­0 of HP backup provides additional features to backup and restore.­ Additional features: 1) selective back up of PIM (Contacts/­Calendar/­Tasks databases); 2) selective backup of Inbox databases; 3) back up with password protection; 4) backup with encryption.­ This application is only applicable for the English optios (ABA,­ ABU,­ AB4,­ ABG,­ ABB,­ ACY),­ (Note: The option of your Jornada is indicated on the label at the back of your unit.­) To install: 1.­ Download the file hpbkupv2.­exe to a folder in your desktop PC.­ 2.­ Double click on the downloaded file to start the installation program.­ The program will guide you through step by step.­ 3.­ Connect the Jornada to the desktop PC using ActiveSync.­ Answer yes to install the program in the default folder.­ 4.­ After installation is completed,­ disconnect the Jornada from the desktop PC.­ Note: Please take note that in case you have performed a hard reset on your Jornada,­ you will need to re-install this program again.­
